Fabrizio Freda was appointed CEO and President of Estée Lauder Companies, Inc. in mid-2009. He started at the company a little over a year earlier, as its COO and President. In his work for Estée Lauder, Freda has been described as a “strategically focused, financially disciplined, results-oriented leader with a proven track record in the consumer products arena.” He supervises many of the company’s principal international brands such as: Clinique, Bobbi Brown, La Mer, Jo Malone, Darphin and the Aramis and Designer Fragrances division. He is also in charge of Estée Lauder’s global business, R&D; Packaging and QA.
In addition, globalization vis-à-vis business is important to Freda. In a recent interview documented by Beauty Packaging, Freda said, “A truly global company innovates for the most demanding consumer, and brings that to every country in the world.”
